Because someone here may be able to help with this urgent case, we are sharing Alex from Justice for Puppy Doe : Alex ended back up on the euth list for today. Out of the applications we recd for her some were just too far away, some did not qualify and the 2 that we tried to approve, the applicants went poof. Sadly, this dog is still slated to die at noon today unless we get a qualified applicant who will actually follow through with the adoption. We are heartbroken at this point. We have made policy not to share other dogs on this page, at this time, because this page is for Puppy Doe and her case is still open. That said, we have gotten numerous requests to share a dog that sits on death row tonight in NYC. When you see Alex, we think you will understand. If posting this beauty (who also seems to have suffered some abuse, see gash and drain on shoulder, although not even close to what Puppy Doe did) can save the life of this deserving girl, we think Puppy Doe will look down and approve! Here is her info: My name is ALEX. My Animal ID # is A0982013. I am a female white and brown pit bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old. She is at the NYC ACC and would have to be pulled by an approved rescue. She is not available for direct adoption. She scored great with other dogs and on everything else, except food. She did not like the red plastic hand in the food bowl. Due to this, she would not be recommended with young children. She is adored by volunteers at the shelter and is said to be sweet, affectionate & needy. She needs to have placement by noon tomorrow or will be put to sleep. She came into the NYC ACC on 10/13.
