Because the right wing Republican legislators down in North Carolina wouldnt accept the Medicaid expansion of the affordable care act because of you know who (President Black Ninja) another hospital in rural NC has closed. Meaning folks have to travel 75 miles to the nearest Emergency Room. YES this is still America. A 48 year old woman died of cardiac arrest simply because they couldnt get her to the ER in time by helicopter yesterday. The Republican mayor of that town is marching with others to Washington D.C. to try and get his state government and the rest of the GOP to stop this on going battle with the ACA and President Obama. The same is going on in the State of Georgia where 4 rural hospitals have been closed because the Republican governor also wont accept the Medicaid expansion from the federal government all to try to make the ACA fail to hurt President O. But theyre only hurting their own constituents. Sad that theyre playing politics with peoples lives and theyre DEAD WRONG!! I saw a survey today where 72% of REPUBLICANS that now have health care due to the Adorable Cares Act... LIKE IT!! Imagine that.
