Hey everyone! Just wanted to give an update on my momma! After having 3 surgeries, one being an emergency surgery, 4 trips by ambulance to Nashville because of her battling staph in her incision this little lady has been so determined to get better despite the staph that she has been doing great at her physical rehab! The surgeries began on April 28 and 29 and the emergency surgery was on Memorial Day weekend she has not been able to walk. She has finally walked for the first time since her journey began. She has been excited beyond words. Bless her heart. She has always shown strength in the most dire situations that any and all of us as a family have faced throughout our lives. I dont know how she has done it at times; but, she is beyond determined! Before she walked she was beginning to be discouraged that she would not be able to get home. But, that has been her driving force. So, with the help and assistance of the Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center she has began feeling hopeful and energized! They all have been so very good to her! She brags about them constantly! I am so thankful to all them for looking out and for her! They have helped me beyond ways they have no idea! Lets just pray we can get a hold of that staph and get rid of it and she can finally get better to go home! If I havent learned anything from my parents, I have definitely learned prayer is powerful, God is good and strength comes in many ways and that I must MUST carry on! Thank you all for your kind words and concerns for my mom! She has greatly appreciated everyones calls, visits and especially prayers!
