What a good deed without pay. When Abubakar (ra) was caliph, after salatul fajir, he would go out into the desert. Umar (ra) was curious where Abubakar(ra) goes after fajir prayers. He followed him one day and saw him enter in a tent on the desert. After Abubakar(ra) left he went to the tent and found an old woman with children. Umar(ra) asked the woman about her situation. She told him that am an old ageing widow raising orphan children but am blind. Umar(ra) asked about the man who visits them every morning. She replied saying I dont know him. He always come here to cook food for us, kneads the dough, bake the bread, cleans, wash our dirty clothes, milt the goat and leaves. Umar asked the amount she pay Abubakar(ra). She replied am poor and he never demanded any pay. So how long has he been doing all these? The woman said, for a long time. Just judge yourself fellow muslims. All this is Islam, so do at least part to the needy.
