Beccie Leathley has first refusal: Stunning late 1940s New Look Skirt Suit in Pale Lavender Wool with beaded Appliqué Details. One of the most unique suits Ive ever found, made by Original Richis Hollywood, dripping in knockout details! Constructed in lightweight wool in a completely drool-worthy shade of Rosy Lavender, a slim cut skirt paired with a New Look styled nipped waist jacket with lightly padded shoulders, a sculptural peplum hip, wide peaked cuffs and the glittery icing on the cake, swirl appliqué details at the collar and hips encrusted with opalescent seed and bugle beads, faux pearls and prong set rhinestones! Fully lined in pink silk crepe, Metal back zip and waist button closure on the skirt, 5 covered button closure on the jacket with 2 internal hook and eye closures at the waist (to prevent pulling). In fantastic vintage condition, gently worn and incredibly preserved. The jacket is in 100% flawless condition! and the only flaw to note on the skirt is a faint 1/2 yellow spot near the waistband (this spot appears superficial and will likely be removed by dry cleaning). This spot is hidden when the jacket is worn with the skirt. Measurements (flat): Skirt, 13.5-14 Along Waist, 18.5-19 Across Hips, 27 Total Length from Waist to Hem. Jacket, 18-18.5 Pit to Pit, 14.5-15 across Waist, 22.5 Total Length down Center Back with a 21.5 Sleeve. $120 plus $8 Shipping within the US.
