Becoming a nurse was my life long dream. Ever since I was little I always said I wanted to become a nurse. To help people in their most vulnerable state. When they need someone the most I wanted to be the person to impact their life. Ive seen the type of nurses I dont want to become. I have the heart, the compassion, and the drive to make a difference. One of the hardest things Ive come across being a nurse is what area I want to work in. Being with Alzheimers and dementia patients has sure stolen my heart. Working with cancer patients has always been a big desire also. Mainly children diagnosed with Cancer. God only knows where Ill end up but no matter what Ill always try to make a difference and be the nurse that families never forget.
