Becoming vegetarian while staying carnivorous sounds impossible - TopicsExpress

Becoming vegetarian while staying carnivorous sounds impossible right? Well yes that was a rhetorical question and of course it is however, the principle is not. You’re still a natural born killer, the top of the food chain, but does it justify your right to rule the roost? In this short article ill discuss the above Being a vegetarian can appear a low-cost alternative from eating meats products however, it depends on how much time and money you have to spend on buying and preparing your food. Often people say they feel a lot healthier on the inside when beginning a new diet. Particularly, a well-balanced vegetarian diet offers your body a chance to de-contaminate and improve your digestion. Another noted benefit is you can appreciate new varieties of food and discover how to cook exotic meals with new ingredients. It also encourages you to experiment more with unique sauces, spices, fruits and vegetables. And of corse, if you are a secret food junkie you can still enjoy rubbish food like anyone else – the endless variety of pizza toppings, crisp varieties, dulcet ice-creams, and sweet foreign dishes can still tantalise your taste buds whilst filling you to the brim. A potential downside to being a vegetarian is that food preparation can be much slower process however, it’s your choice whether to buy pre-made food or cook yourself. It all depends of what you want to eat! One silly thing often stopping people from making this lifestyle change is that there is inevitably less variety when eating out at restaurants. Again though, this is really dependent on the environment where you live and availability of produce. One thing I wanted to disprove with this new lifestyle choice was that you would not lose weight from stopping eating meat. I first believed this hypothesis to be a false yet upon completing the three weeks veggie diet I can say that even after eating six small meals each day I still lost a substantial amount of weight. But on the inside I felt much healthier and happier. I guess what I initially learned is that if you want to do something you need to completely commit yourself to that lifestyle choice and you have to make certain choices that you will struggle with at first, but the longer you stick to it the easier it becomes. I recommend trying out something new for a month just to see whether you can test yourself. And if you do something special like giving up meat you’ll learn so much more about your own body! Giving up anything takes determination and strength of mind. I feel today is the right day to post this because today is the last day of September before many people will try to give up SOMETHING for STOPTOBER. Whether you choose to live your life without something or with it just know that you are the master of yourself and only you can make the changes you want to see in yourself.
