Beef stock to the rescue! I have been picking about 5 gallons of beans every third day, so needless to say the kids are tired of them. They will gobble them up though when I fix them this way. The secret it to use beef broth instead of chicken and to add Rosemary. Even Evan my fussy eater loves them. Ingredients for a full crock pot: Fresh snapped beans. (I mix yellow, purple & green) Enough water to cover. 1lb of bacon, diced 1 large onion 3 teaspoon beef bullion or fresh stock to cover the beans instead of the water. 2 teaspoons Rosemary 2 teaspoons onion powder salt & pepper I cook them on high for 3-4 hours.
