Been a few days but heres a quick update of my mom. Today is day 10 since shes been admitted to the Neuro ICU and Doctors have told us that there Is a critical window of 7-21 days where she is susceptible to potential stroke if her blood pressure isnt maintained at a certain level. She is also battling a mini staff-like infection but is on anti-biotics. With that said however, the nurses and doctors remain highly optimistic that my mom is making as best a recovery as they could truly hope for if not better. Each day brings its new challenges and difficulties for her recovery but we all know that she is such an incredibly strong and beautiful woman whos truly up for anything that stands In her way. It truly has been quite an emotional ride so far for us all but we truly are blessed to have all of this amazing support from everyone. I really do wish I could put a value on all the texts, calls and prayers but it truly is something we all cherish immensely. My moms recovery still has a long road ahead but the progress shes made so far is a god send. God is great. Please keep her in your thoughts thoughts and prayers and we will have more updates in the days to come. Have a blessed weekend everyone and stay #BarbaraStrong
