Been a long day , but I know mom would be proud of her services. Rodney Johnson (John & I"s nephew ) done a wonderful service last night & his service was fitting at the new spot at Highland called "Whispering Waters", where they had moms casket you could see mountains & had a fountain spraying water. From where we were sitting it looked like it was touching the sky &" I thought" shes touching Heaven"s Gate. SO MUCH THANKS goes out to Carey Johnson, Valerie Brown, Haley Dodson Debra Warren, Barbara Johnson, & Janice King for the food &r all the hard work they done in getting our dinner ready. Barb & Janice also done some laundery the other day also. So much comfort & love was shared these past too days made things easier to bear. Adam & Emily took it real hard, Adam said he couldn"t race without Great_Grannie watching, I told him she"ll be watching him from a better place. I sat between John & Adam & we conforted each other, they were my support today & I for them. So sorry my family from Indiana got in to late last night to view moms services but was there today. I"m tired but also at ease to know that I completed moms wishes to the best of my ability. She would have been so proud of her turnout of family & friends & all the love & support shown toward her . Highland done a great job in doing there side of things & making sure I was doing ok,& mom looked so good. Now I think before I start to handle moms things ( which I don"t think I can handle right now anyway ) . John said I needed to rest now & take it easy. My knee is really bothering me tonight, I guess from where I have been on my feet for two days. It wanting to give way on me now at times when I get up. Much love was shown & felt between John, myself, Cindy & John & Adam & Emily. I felt that we were drawn so much closer as a family, love is always shown but it was stronger the last couple days. Again I think mom would have been proud of the beautiful service she had & so proud of Rodney whom she adored.
