Been looking at a stack of my dads sermons for days now.. I tried reading through one of them, couldnt see the words through the tears:( it breaks my heart that the world lost a great man.. But not just any man.. A called man of God. Dad wasnt perfect, but he strived to live a Godly life. He believed in honesty, justice, and peace.. The fruit of the spirit kind of guy.. I pray that I can be as bold as he was to stand fast in The Lord.. Hold on to my convictions and never let anyone change them without scripture to back them up! Im not perfect, I have sin, Ive done bad things, and paid dearly for those things! But God is forgiving, dad was forgiving. He taught me a lot about the bible. I hope that in the near future, I will be able to open my heart and hear the word once again by reading the sermons my dad wrote himself through the inspiration of God! I know theres peace there.. I also know theres going to be conviction as well.:( when I am ready, I know God will lay upon my heart to open them up and read them! Im so thankful God blessed me with such Godly parents!
