Been quiet regarding matters up North. Never a dull moment in the New Territories! No. I was being gracious. There is some respect to be gained, at the end, by doing the right thing - for the sake of friends and family, for the sake of colleagues, students, teachers mentors - for the sake, for the sake a profession in crisis. The right thing? Resign. Quickly. Quietly. Now I want to know how many people reading the words above experienced a little, trifling, flutter of anxiety? Anyway, just got to prepare a lecture for tomorrow: 9 - 9.30 in the Orthopaedic Learning Centre Clinical Applications of Microsurgery. Very topical when we extend our thoughts and best wishes to Ms Yik Siu-ling as she embarks on yet another episode of her facial reconstruction/renaissance. So I will do a recap later and share with you some unbelievable comments from email exchanges in early September 2010.
