Been reading all of the Geezer Goofball Logic of the ESPN2/Internet jockeys who know the fix was in at DSR and indirectly JFR in order for DSR to win dual NHRA Championships over the weekend Auto Club Raceway at Pomona so Force would not go out the winner at the end of 2014. But I gotta spill the beans - sorry but I have been listening to the cliche nationals on the PA System for the last four days. I was there at Pomona much of the week and I did read the official NHRA Script this morning, written by Graham Light, unfortunately Hagen and Force were supposed to meet in the Semis, but Don Schumacher Racing would not hear of it. So after a very quick re-write the Don himself decided that he would change the entire outcome of the event in cahoots with Forrest Lucas and they would split the cool million dollars from DSR winning both the Top Fuel and Funny Car Championships. Then Lucas Oil steps up and sponsors JFR to save that team for the future of drag racing. Then Forrest, according to the script revision, would withdraw both of his Top Fuelers for 2015 to make it easier for DSR to at least win the 2015 Top Fuel Championship and Kalitta Racing concurred. Next year will bring the change to eight-car Professional fields to save them all money and make the show much shorter without any qualifying. I could let more out of the bag, but Id probably get a call on the bat phone from Tom Compton advising me to shut up or never visit Pomona Raceway again. Yep, the fix was in and you all were hoodwinked. The truth is out!!!
