Been sitting outside with my dog Chandler; front door open listening to pieces of the packers game popping occasionally on the Red Zone. Thinking. Its been a month now since I walked out of Cornerstone Church, frustrated by the treatment from Christians that had been verbally assaulted by Sandy for not taking her side or pity to her side; and walked right into the bar. Had been going to the bars since. Not once has any Christian called, txt, msg, sent letter, or otherwise to me. Seriously, if it had not been for a simple example of my granddaughter, Zayta, being baptized this week; I would never have walked into Harvest Church. Christians! Is this what we do? Let someone walk out of the light and into the fire? Im not saying this is true for all Christians; but are you ready to answer the question when asked when you are called home? Oh, youll bask in the Light of Love in the kingdom of Heaven. But can you take the answer to the question as Im sorry Lord; I thought that was the Deccans or Elders job. (or) didnt he belong to such and such Life Group? Thought they would have helped? My granddaughters act of faith and love of God has given me a little solid ground to pull myself up. A child! Things to think about mr/ms Christian. How much spiritual blood do we have on our hands from something as simple as encouragement?
