Been spending the last few days working on my live set for Sonic Blossom. I will be bringing a guest MC, Plan Z to drop live vocals over some really dope tracks he produced. We plan on bringing the future of bass music to stage on Oct 11th, between 8:45-9:50 at Cervantes. After playing this set for Sonic Blossom, Annie Philo and I will be primarily focusing our energy into hosting and throwing more events. Planning is in its preliminary stages for the Illuminatorium 2 after the amazing community support of the first community showcase we threw over the Summer. Complete details coming soon... So many ideas have been discussed, ways we can impact this local community positively and continue to create a platform for artists, musicians, and performers to come to stage. I look forward to merging our Colorado collective with up and rising California based producers and bringing something new in the near future. I also look forward to continuing to grow and expand the community support of our events focusing on intelligent dance music and extremely skilled performance arts and visuals from our talented local collective. We have decided to use this platform to create a charity that saves the ticketing profits and uses them to finance building a sustainable farm and community center here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We are dedicating all of our event profits from here on out to building something more important than our own needs, a sustainable aquaponic farm and outdoor community event center where the local community can meet for events. I have no need or desire to profit off of these community events or my time I have devoted to this community, so I will allow our own entertainment to employ local musicians, artists, performers, and finance local organic farming and an outdoor venue. The farm/venue will be dedicated to the community, and the future site of our events. After spending weeks looking at local properties that are available, and having multiple discussions on the future of our events. Annie and I have realized that this is not only possible, but necessary.
