Been thinking of doing a series of Monster Movie Top 10 list, and starting with Werewolves (my personal favorite), Im torn between Ginger Snaps or Ginger Snaps 2 (the latter I think is a little creepier) for one of the lower picks. GINGER SNAPS is one of those films that people are really split with: some think theyre the films that truly restarted the horror genre around the late 90s/2000s, while others think theyre pretenious and way too teen angst. I still have a soft spot for them (although.....yea, theyre not that big a stretch between dumb and creepy). Still, one thing about the first GINGER SNAPS: by the end, I was really impressed by the design they went with for the finale in a very humanoid beast hound:
