Been trying to think of any stories Dad told me about his time in Panama and here is what I can remember-- 1. he said he was fishing buddies with Manuel Noriega--he said was it was part of his job, kinda Army public relations or something like that I guess 2.then I can barely remember something about a exercise where he said they were in the jungle and when he had came out of the jungle he had got sliced to pieces by the Black Palm trees down there 3. finally he said one time there were some Marines in a ship off shore that were giving them a hard time, mouthing off and such so one night he got one of his buddies(cant remember the name) and they got on black rubber rafts and swam out to the ship and planted fake bombs on it went back and radioed the Marines and told them where they planted them and said BOOM your dead and he said they never had any trouble with them after that! LOL
