Been watching TITP highlights all day, heres some of my views, they are extremely opinionated as usual : Nina Nesbitt - who are you and where have you came from you magical, beautiful creature, didnt catch one song as I was just staring at her, but Im guessing they were brilliant. Maximo Park - you wouldnt listen to their cd in the hoose but they are a good festival band with plenty singles that are half decent. George Elze - sounds like a 40 year old man when he sings, deeper voice than me that guy. Songs were murder but. Magic Numbers - stick to the hits and youll be fine. Looked very sweaty for them in that tent. Sophie Ellis Bexter - Best Ive seen so far, good band behind her, shes aged well, can definitely sing and groovejet is still a belter of a tune. Was even tapping along to murder on the dance floor at the end. Fatherson - should not be allowed out the house let alone on a stage playing to thousands with those scruffy beards and tatty shirts, instantly was put off by their appearance and just stuck on the jukebox whilst they played. Ellie Goulding - Get off my TV, radio, and go away. The most irritating of the day by a mile so far. Utter rubbish and the fact it looks like 90% of TITP went to the stage she was on to see her utterly depresses me. She cant dance either, no rhythm whatsoever and please stop randomly hittin that drum as if youre contributing to the music. You just know she thinks shes arty. That is all.x
