Been working no-stop all day, but need to take a few moments to get some thoughts down about this day that has double meaning for me. I will take this in chronological order. October 20, 1996 is the day that Elissa Stolzer became Mrs. Elissa Shapiro. Its 18 years later, and to say that we have experienced several lows and highs would be an understatement. From Elissas various medical issues, to my father passing away way too soon, to the birth of our children and everything both in between and afterward, its been a heck of a journey. Both the good and the bad has impacted our lives and our relationship and it and we are both stronger for it. Elissa Stolzer Shapiro I love you more each day. Part 2 of this post is for Ilana Rose who turned 15 today. She will always be my little girl, but each day she becomes more of the woman she is destined to be. She drives me crazy and messes up her room faster than would seem humanly possible, but she also makes me proud in more ways than I can say. I love her immensely, and look forward to watching her blossom (she is Ilana Rose). Love to the two most important women in my life. Happy Anniversary Elissa and Happy Birthday Ilana.
