Before I continue Id like to make it clear, that what you are about to read is not written out of spite, but love and concern. The goal is to enlighten and bring some clarity on certain things. Reader discretion is advised. THOU SHALL FALL. Falling under the power or getting slain in the spirit. A beautiful manifestation of the Holy Spirit, which has unfortunately led to many misconceptions. There are people who mistakenly think that when someone falls under the power it means they are changed. There are preachers who believe that a service isnt impactful, unless someone falls under the power. This has given rise to inappropriate techniques, where instead of laying hands on people, weve seen forceful pushing and slapping. There is no need for this, keep Romans 12 in mind. Its about renewal and transformation, Christ being the pattern. People may get slain in the spirit, but let us strive to have them become fully grown in spirit. Dear young preacher, having people falling is awesome, but making lasting impact. Raising matured kingdom minded, Christ centered people is even BETTER. #notesToTheYoungpreacher
