Before I get into tonights DARK Radio, I have an announcement: To make up for having only four nights of DARK last week, there will be six nights this week. So tomorrow night there will be a heretofore-unheard-of Saturday broadcast. Ill try to make it extra special. For tonight, I offer a track from a new-ish band. New Years Day is a band to watch out for, I believe. They havent hit their stride yet, it seems to me, but when theyre on their lyrics are deliciously snarky and their music walks a line between metal and pop and actually makes it work.
