Before I head to bed, I want to toot some horns and give some appreciation!!! Kimberley Mccrary Parks and Danny Lynn Parks are 2 people that have a love for Jesus Christ and dont mind showing it! They are willing to do whatever it takes to be a part of the Ministry at Innerchange Church and they do an excellent job. Today they spent about 3 hours cleaning the church, and I dont mean just picking up here and there. i mean, sweeping under all the pews, sweeping up all the paper left behind, then dust mopping the entire place, then mopping the entire place. This is no small place either! Theyve worked hard on a regular basis for quite a while on making sure their place of worship was clean and presentable for Sunday services. Why is this so important to me to hold them in high esteem over this? Because there are tons of people who want to help in the ministry. Every church has people who want to take part in some way but nobody wants to do the dirty jobs. I heard Pastor Clint Brown preach once in Orlando, Fl the word responsibility. He repeated the word over and over to himself, responsibility, responsibility, responsibility, responsibility, responsibility, until finally it came out...respond to your ability!. People will walk by a piece of paper on the floor in church and look at it and keep on walking because they dont feel its their responsibility to pick that piece of paper up. After all, thats what the janitor is for, right? But Pastor Clint is right!!! If you have the ability to be used for God, then its your responsibility to do so!!! Kim and Danny knew there may not be much they could do in the church, but they knew how to work a broom and mop and in that, they worked and God is glorified in their work! More folks in the church need to have this kind of dedication to doing His work!!! Im not talking about just Innerchange Church, Im talking about all churches!!! Danny and Kim, I love you and i respect you guys for being willing to be used in such a way!!! I have no doubts God will richly bless you!!!
