Before I leave for Ponsonby and then the CBD funnily enough.. I will be boycotting companies like this.. All of them.. New Zealand under the current government does not serve or protect its workers whether they are NZ born, or recent immigrants.. Actually they continually sacrifice them to a growing comparable third world situation, where a lack of rights and even sub safe conditions ( for some) are regarded as less important than PROFIT. Many refugees and recent residents and citizens have fled from conditions like this.. In my opinion.. Fines like these means nothing to these kinds of employers.. They will do it again and again til they are caught again.. Its called the free market employment reality sadly.. If we sign the TPPA it will become even more normal and commonplace..
