Before the flood, Noah was challenged to something greater than himself. No doubt he tried to share all that was in his heart....for years he attempted, but no one would listen. There were the mockers... the atheist... the mind your business crowd... even those who admired his convictions and how he stood by them... those to busy to pay any heed or attention... possibly even those Noah hired to help build the Ark....but, they were there for nothing more than a pay check. But when the rain came, the door was shut... Imagine Noahs dilemma... The screaming...The crying for help...children lifted above their parents head, pleading for safety... As he looks at all the animals in the Ark, the miracle of what is in this Ark...All the while outside, the screams, the pleading.... then again as Noah looks at his cargo... from the massive Elephant, to the lowly mouse... The King of Beasts to the innocent lamb... The ant with the anteater... The majestic eagle... the few humans, his family.... And God says, Noah...seal the door. ....as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the Ark.... Matt. 24:37 & 38 There is hope...
