Before their was Christian set their was Gnostic sets, which like Yezidi was followers of Satan.I hope this helps to explain Gnostic and Yezidi views of Satan. First we deal with Gnostic views .Gnostic beleave the world is really Hell and no good god could have created it.They thought that the supreme God is in some far away heaven.The world was made and is governed by lesser deities called Archons rulers, who are either actively hostile to god or dont know he exists.The chief of the Archons was the God of the old testament called Yahweh, who is very, a savage murder, and treacherous god, the world was made by angels who were in rebellion agaunst the supreme God Saturinus, Yahweh split from Satan, Yahweh seen Satan desire mankind to become Gods on earth, Yahweh desired Slave, so he created his own race , Satan seen Adam and Eve was slaves to Yahweh and felt sad for them, eve to eat the apple to become free and wise like the gods.So becuase of this Yahweh he is only god worthly of worshiped so he created his owhn race Jewish not Israelite to be his own people and help them.So Father Satan sent his son to earth and let him bring in the people of Yahweh.This is base the same idea of Yezidi, Satan as Enki created mankind and El desire control of mankind as his slave, Eden was Enki Garden kingdom, were he kept Adamu and Ninki, and taought them knowledge
