Before you SHARE this post from the Fremont County Sheriffs blotter, you need to read it all the way through. Its hard to believe this actually happened. Right now, we have calls in to the Sheriffs office for official confirmation. An elderly gentleman reported that while he was bowling, someone stole his car keys. The man stated that the miserable thief was now apparently watching the victim’s car in the parking lot and was using the remote key fob to repeatedly lock and unlock the doors as the victim would approach his car, in an obvious attempt to irritate the man. After the man and his friends thoroughly searched the bowling alley and parking lot and scanned the area for the suspect, the victim call the sheriff for assistance. Deputies arrived and after having the victim retrace his steps and activities, located the victim’s keys jammed in the toe of one of his street shoes he was now wearing. The victim had initially placed the keys in his shoe while he was bowling and the keys slid down into the toe of his shoe when the man went to put his street shoes back on. Every time the man would take a step, he would activate the key fob door lock. Everyone had a good laugh and the deputies headed to the next call.
