Beginning Aug. 19, the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) contractor will begin widening the existing roadway of US Highway 30 and adding a new left turn lane at the intersection of US Highway 30 and CR 175. Motorists who travel this area will find daily lane closures. Motorists should watch for workers and obey all traffic control in this project. This $475,761.25 left turn project is contracted to Knife River Corporation-South out of Bryan. Weather permitting, this project should be complete in approximately three months.
