Beginning the task of sorting through massive number of items (every drawer, cabinet & closet, etc) in our house, getting ready for an estate sale in a few weeks, and then to sell the house. Hard to think of 42 years of memories walking out the door - but it is right to do it. Just came across a box, tucked away in a garage cabinet. I opened it. I was amazed at what I saw. Carol had saved every letter I wrote her during our 11 month courtship - which began that glorious day - Feb 28, 1970. (Did not read them - cause one cannot read through tears.)
