Begrudgingly willing to admit, (as much as it was hard for me to take 4+ hrs of Rush himself narrating the audio book version - his voice is SO grating! Ugh.), Rush Revere was actually a pretty good book for kids. Lots of history about the pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving interwoven with just enough ridiculousness (like a talking horse) that kept my boys giggling and interested. There were a few parts where it got a little dry IMO, but over all I give it a Recommend. :-)
