If your pride has caused you to be easily offended by the opinions of others youve made a fool of yourself. I find it odd that behaviors that fall under the umbrella of cultural norms seem to be granted a special protection from criticism, as if because a lot of people have been behaving that way for a long time its immune from judgement regardless of the nature of the behaviors. Because thats logical... Also we all know that if you want respect you had better display respect to others.
