Behind the scenes with Raven 6 in Nebraska. With temperatures ranging in -25 to -35....I decided to use the small bird for extended battery time. One thing I noticed...once I got down to 55% battery life... lift was harder to control and the bird would loose altitude once I let off the stick and wouldnt come to a hover. So, when flying I had to use extra throttle control to stay at altitude. I still felt confident in flying...and as a result captured some awesome footage. What are your experiences when flying in extreme cold weather?
