She has a security situation at her home involving a pedophile and her young daughter and wants to adopt a dog to intimidate this man. We found out about this in a roundabout way, not because she was honest with us on her application. She has a 4 foot fence and a doggie door that would allow a dog access to the yard while unattended. We did a home visit and found that the next door neighbors dog is quite unfriendly to other dogs and the possibility of one of our boxers getting stolen from her yard is too great to allow us to adopt to her. She is also looking for a Doberman, but may look at GSDs as well.
