...Behold, there is a woman who is a **medium at En-dor. (1 Sam.28:7b) **The Bible gives strict instructions against delving into the realm of spirits (Lev.19:31; 20:6-7; Dt.18:10-12). Some who claim to have contact with spirits are frauds, but certainly there are genuine cases. God is against any form of spiritism, fraudulent or real. See 1 Chron.10:13-14. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of a medium, to inquire of her, and inquired not of the Lord; therefore, he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David, the son of Jesse. (1 Chron.10:13-14)
