Being a bit of a TV alien, I only bumped into this jewel of a TV - TopicsExpress

Being a bit of a TV alien, I only bumped into this jewel of a TV moment about a year and a half ago while teaching in Portugal and researching for a weekly song for my first graders. It comes back to me every time and then and I just want to share it today and dedicate it to my friends and all those people who believe in the power that music and people with guts (like the director Tim Rhys Evans) have to change the life of others for the better. Also a message of hope for all the mums and dads of highly spirited boys (Gosh, that means means meeself!). Here is the English translation of what they sing: I dont ask for a luxurious life, the worlds gold or its fine pearls, I ask for a happy heart, an honest heart, a pure heart. A pure heart full of goodness Is fairer than the pretty lily, None but a pure heart can sing, Sing in the day and sing in the night. If I wished for worldly wealth, It would swiftly go to seed; The riches of a virtuous, pure heart Will bear eternal profit. Evening and morning, my wish Rising to heaven on the wing of song For God, for the sake of my Saviour, To give me a pure heart. And, of course, there´s the Welsh in me ;-) https://youtube/watch?v=AARrVAHnkdY
