Being a bit of a lone-wolf for most of my life, I somehow adopted the idea that I experience the most success at growing when I am alone and have the freedom, space and time to work on myself in soul-I-tude. (You guys are always hearing me talk about how much I love my soulitude and enjoy my own company; which is very crucial, indeed). But now I am beginning to see that relationships, in fact, are the most powerful tools for evolution. They are a spiritual opportunity for personal growth and expansion. There is no greater arena for discovering our capacity for LOVE (wild, delicious, love!), forgiveness, compassion, personal greatness, soul-connection, and full self-expression. Nowhere else will we meet the brightest and darkest parts of ourselves. Nowhere else will we confront our self-imposed limits to intimacy. Nowhere else can we forgive so deeply and love so purely and passionately... Relationship is a chance to share our enthusiasm for being *alive*-- to magnify the human (and spiritual) experience-- with partners who become our allies and teachers, here to help us discover and experience our magnificence...
