Being a black multicultural individual, the thing I admire the most about Obama (inclusive of the following) is that he never, if ever, raised the race card. The answer to Why is simple - he sees everyone as equal. And we all know, especially after reviewing his accomplishments below, that the Republicans major angst is that he is black or a visible minority. Recognize a fact that in todays world, the majority of us are multicultural. Once you can appreciate your own cultural history, then you might be more receptive of others, and yourself with the inspiration to see things as they truly are and input whatever you can to promote equality, sound fiscal and humane progression and individually, a community progressing towards all achievable. Yes, as Obama will concur, we can definitely succeed, in all realms, by collaborating together, appreciating the values all can contribute, denying the negative and militaristic instigators, promoting self worth and living the best that life can offer. If the US sees itself as world leaders then they must first lead the way in humane fashion. What better day than today, Armistice Day, to appreciate the multi-cultures which gave us the freedom we have today. Lets move with this freedom with inspiration, knowledge, self-worth, progress and vision for a better tomorrow. Im proud to be of that Canadian contingent that Richard Brunt represents and hope that more Canadians will join in his vision.
