#Day20 is the time to #Pray for 2 Countries that 0 of their citizens will not hear the GOOD NEWS of King Jesus! Amen? +~~~~~~~~~~~~~DAY TWENTY of P.T.T.W. 9~~~~~~~~~~~~+ #BRUNEI is in SOUTHEAST ASIA. #Pray4Brunei Brunei’s implementation of Sharia law is already affecting Christian Believers. Non-Muslims must wear clothing that does not “disgrace Islam,” and all women are required to wear a ‘hijab.’ In addition, Christian Believers cannot talk about their faith, Muslim converts to Christianity can lose custody of their children, Christian materials cannot be brought into the country, and Christian foreign workers are not allowed. According to Phil Robertson, deputy director of the Asia division at Human Rights Watch, “Brunei’s decision to implement criminal Sharia law is a huge step backwards for human rights in the country. It constitutes an authoritarian move towards brutal medieval punishments that have no place in the modern, 21st century world.” Pray for Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah to believe in Jesus Christ as his Savior. Pray for the immediate repeal of Sharia law in Brunei. Ask God to protect Brunei Christian Believers from persecution by the Sharia Penal Code (The Bible, Psalm 17:8). #LEBANON is located in the MIDDLE EAST. Pray4Lebanon Because of the vast number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, some areas of Lebanon were completely shut down and the traffic was not moving as Syrians tried to vote for their next president. Some 80,000 Syrians made their way to the embassy, intending to vote, but remained fearful of the future and worried about what might happen to their families in Syria. Pray for the Lebanese government as they have to deal with this growing refugee situation. Pray for the Church in Lebanon that is also part of caring for these refugees. They need strength, funds, and continued ability to minister to the Syrians (The Bible, 1 Peter 4:11).
