Being a dance teacher, is a passion that or you have it or not. It is not just down to how good you are explaining or breaking down the steps it is all about how really passionate you are, how you pass that emotion to your students and how you make them feel the same passion as you, but more important than the tittle of Dance teacher is your legacy as a dance teacher and your legacy only comes when you see your students dancing like that, not only with a good foundation but with joy and passion and that is what Robert King-Sarfo represent for me, joy to watch and you can feel his passion every time he dance. My others fellows colleagues will call me again arrogant, (because that is always the easiest way to give an excuse), but how many of them in this country, can name publicly dancers that have learned with them with such quality as Robert, Peter KizoJedi Zrajkowski, Luque Man, El Ceprino Del Mundo, Lawrence Santos, Francis Karemo, Mikumba Mambo, Tuan Isfahan Omerdeen, Donovan Davis, Ninio Amu, Darren Chin, James Kizomba Shaolin , Javier Kizomba SD, Dipo Denloye or Mwangi Maina, it is not with who they started but who make them reach to that level or give them that passion. A BIG, BIG THANK YOU, to all my students that always follow me and support me on a regular basis or travel always from far like Donovan that regardless if I go from North of England to South he will always be there or Javier that travel from US (San Diego), at least 3 times a year. Thank you to Lúcia Nogueira, for bringing that same passion and creating something unique on Thursdays in what we call THA CURCH, because I feel pure passion and all our students feel that straight away after they step inside of our underground place at Equilibrio. I only posted guys names but I cant leave ladies like Vee Da, TishTosh Anderson, Selam Tekle, Jo Semba, this ladies more than knowing how to dance they also show their joy and passion on the dance flor. Feeling PROUD and really love what we do on Thursdays with Semba it is almost Magical for me.
