Being extremely ill and having to accept help and depend on other - TopicsExpress

Being extremely ill and having to accept help and depend on other people really puts things into perspective. I have not had the easiest road to where I am today, and have spent a lot of time grieving for what I have lost, but lying here, I am astounded and oh so grateful for all that I have gained. The endless love and support that I have from my parents, my beautiful, smart, loving, kind, funny and incredible daughter, my soon-to-be parents-in-law, who have gone above and beyond to accept both Sophie and I into their family, and who I could not ask for better parents and grandparents, and finally Larry, who has shown me what unconditional love and loyalty is. He has seen me and loved me at my worst, he has been my best friend, loudest cheerleader and simply the most incredible man I have ever known. The next three and half months until we officially become a family cant come soon enough. Throw in the six crazy dogs, and my other animals, and I have gained so much more than I ever thought possible. Im one lucky woman.
