Being one who admittedly is on the outside, looking in, I must say that all who once followed this individual are certainly justified if they feel betrayed. Belizeans and true friends of Belize, its high time we call a spade, a spade. For me, it doesnt matter what position you hold, nor how impressive a command one might seemingly have concerning a particular discipline. If dah fool yu the taak, ih noh matta how yu try pretty it up, its still fool weh yu the taak! What I find so instructive is that according to the news segment, the gentleman is attempting to clarify something uttered by the PM. My question is, Why? Would it not have been more appropriate to respond with something along the lines of, Im sorry but the best person to explain what he meant, is the PM, himself...? Given that he opted to clarify on behalf of a man who is virtually never at a loss for words, one thing immediately comes to mind and that is...if ever there was an example of someone attempting to justify the unjustifiable, this must rank very high on the list. How does that saying go about the act of singing as it relates to ones evening meal? Just some random thoughts...
