Being someone who has been Oscar nominated and...not, I must say, as just a bystander this year, that I really hate the overuse of the hideous term snubbed. An entire community does not sit down and plan a snubbing. Every time someone says that someone was snubbed, they are saying one of the nominees was not deserving of that spot for which the snubbee was snubbed, which is unnecessarily mean. I officially snub the concept of snubbing! Congratulations to all who did great work, and didnt we all get into show business cause we hated phys ed and competitive sports anyway? Hmmm, I guess you could say I snubbed gym class...
