Believe in the LORD your God and you will be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper (II Chronicles 20:20b) 1. Have you ever wondered why some people have not established anything up to today? They have placed their trust in themselves and not the LORD their God. They have distanced themselves from the LORD their GOD and they probably call Him the GOD of someone else, it could be their prophet. Believe in the LORD, your God....take ownership of the relationship and the promise is :ESTABLISHMENT. 2. Believe His prophets and you shall prosper. Prosperity is linked to you believing those that God has sent in your life. The scripture says His prophets. It goes without saying that there will be those that are not His. There will be those that are not sent by Him. There will be those that are driven by greed and self glorification. I see the trend of many Christians today is to have many prophets or pastors. The TV is great source of their information and what they see on the free-to-air channels they want o see their pastor do. Some dont even know anything that their pastor teaches but they are quick to quote international people and tele-evangelists and they have all their sermons but can hardly buy a CD produced by their local pastor and they expect to prosper. God has placed someone in your life. God is not confused that He can send many people to you. He does not want confuse you. There is that one person that God has placed in your life. The question is: will you believe him or will you see someone better yourself and choose to follow them? Expect no prosperity then. Honestly speaking, I have heard many testimonies. All of the testimonies I have heard of people prospering are of the people that believed their local pastor and supported him. I am yet to hear of testimony of the other side of the story. If ESTABLISHMENT and PROSPERITY are your goals this year, be guided accordingly.
