So I dont know if you ever saw or heard about this, but its a quick watch: https://youtube/watch?v=ysa5OBhXz-Q#t=260 I think its a pretty exciting premise for kindred PCs to internalize or rationalize; rather than leeches that erode and degenerate human society, kindred are, themselves, cornerstones of civilization. They guide the development of man, not as shepherds, but rather as wolves. I mean, my PCs tend to be (read: are pretty exclusively) self-righteous and pompous, so this might not work for your story, but I can see orthodox members of most every covenant claiming this, from Carthians professing to define the natural role of kindred, to Invictus right to rule, to more modern words describing the Sanctified role of Gods Own Monster, to obvious Crone references of the Mother Wolf, to even psuedo-Victorian Dragons arguing the tipping point where one becomes the wolf of wolves. Man, I sure hope this makes sense and is interesting once I get some sleep, or Ill feel pretty foolish...
