Believer Cheated and Banned from Working Sept. 27, 2013 – Gospel for Asia Paavan, a believer, has worked steadily as a daily wage laborer to support his family and recently earned enough money to purchase a piece of land. After giving the money to the landowner last week, however, local villagers called a meeting protesting the exchange. The villagers said that because Paavan is a Christian and, in their minds, a bad influence on others, the landowner should not give the land to Paavan or return his money. Furthermore, they banned Paavan’s family from the village well and have stopped hiring him for labor work. Paavan’s family is currently living in a rented house, but without any source of income, they are struggling for survival. Please pray for: ◾God’s complete provision for Paavan, his wife and their child. ◾Changed hearts in the villagers opposing Paavan. ◾The landowner to give Paavan his land or return the money. ◾Paavan and his family to cling to the Lord with strong faith.
