Believing can be a very dangerous thing. How can one believe without understanding? The reason the elders, pharasees and sadduces did not believe was their lack of understanding hence you will forever hear but never understand. How can one understand without being taught(hearing)? Therefore this is what I ask, how then can you tell that in your church is the Holy Spirit? We are taught by the apostols teachings that God was, is and will never be shy. This is no word for me to give God, it is completely out, however.. God shows off. We are taught that the are gifts that He comes with, things he does in the church for its modification and so that the love of God may remain in us and with us. In the old days, before the birth(incarnation of God to Jesus) of Jesus. Amongst the Israelites God perfomed great wonders and miraculous signs. Always showing off. God incarnate and Jesus was born, still he was showing off even then. Many miraculous sign as the gospels and that of John showed. A good example of what the Holy Spirit does, Peter was a coward. We all know that he denied Jesus Christ 3 times. Funny, the other time he denied Jesus was when he was confronted by a little slave girl. What could she have done to a Jew by birth? How then can he be so bold to stand before thousands of people and speak, concerning Jesus Christ. Not slaves this time around but God fearing Jews who could have stoned him to death at the spot. All I say is, check the scriptures and find out if the Holy Spirit is there or not. Another thing, when a brother is rebuked in love, he must turn from his ways. He will be saved. There is no king without advisors, even our president has a cabbinet.
