Belize Water Services informs its customers in areas of Belize City, that there is ongoing intermittent interruption in their water supply today Tuesday March 18th, 2014. These intermittent interruptions are the result of ongoing works to improve water quality. The areas being affected are Vernon Street from Sibun Street to Central American Boulevard; Princess Margaret Drive from H Street to West of Barrack Road; St. Charles Street; Amara Avenue from Kings Street to Dean Street; Lindos Alley, George Street from Mex Avenue to Kings Street; Central American Boulevard from Mahogany Street to Vernon Street; Central American Boulevard from Cemetery Road to Neal Pen Road and Independence Avenue in the Buttonwood Bay Area. Residents of these or nearby areas are advised that water supply should return to normal by 5:00pm daily. If they experience water supply problems after 5:00pm they should immediately call one of BWS’ hotlines at 0-800-BWS-LEAK (0-800-297-5325) or 0-800-CALL-BWS (0-800-225-5297) to report it. BWS apologizes for any inconvenience these intermittent interruptions will cause to our customers in these areas of Belize City.
