****Bella Update**** Please read & share Desperate for experienced cat savvy foster/adopter Do you remember this beauty from the Huntington Cats post? Bella was the last one trapped from a small colony & is such a mush she could not be put back outside. Bella is an affectionate sweet cat. She loves to play & be brushed. She just needs someone who will spend time with her while she adjusts to living outside the crate. Ideally Bella would need a room (with no place for her to hide) where she can have her crate with the door open & acclimate at her own pace. She is a beautiful Maine Coon approx 2years old. She has been fully vetted, including a full blood workup that was perfectly normal. She is FIV/ FELV negative. While living outdoors she was fed raw chicken and cold cuts. She has been retrained to eat cat food and is now eating a few varieties of Fancy Feast wet food. Although she was outside with other ferals we really do not know how she will be in a home with other animals around her. She is currently crated & hisses when other cats get close to the cage but that may well be because she is caged and they are not! Sometimes Bella seems depressed & we need to get her out of the crate ASAP! With time & patience we believe Bella will become a wonderful indoor cat & will be a great addition for the right family. We are looking for a loving patient person to foster or adopt. She needs a quiet space while she acclimates to being in a home. Do you have a small spare room to offer her or maybe you know someone who does?? If necessary I will also provide help with food.
