Bellaire Public Schools :( ???? As some of you know I am a graduate of Bellaire actually a 3rd generation my two children who have graduated also graduated from Bellaire so they are the 4th generation to do so. I have been proud of this school for a long time but with the current state this school is in I can not currently be so. I cant ethically encourage anyone to have their children attend my school any longer you see the quality has slowly degraded below an acceptable level for me to be proud of it anymore. They say we now offer online classes now this was in my eyes a step forward but after my daughters current experience its only dog and pony tactics one they dont really kids taking these classes. Two they have an uncertified person overseeing these students and I mean no ill will against this person just the idea. When an issue arose with Amber misunderstanding the criteria schedule it was ask of school personnel why it took so long for us to be notified here is the response we received by not one school official but two. We are are only legally obligated to provide a student taking an online class a place to do their work WTF does this sound like anyone thats main concern should be all students success not just those who havent chosen to take a online class. The only reason my daughter choose to take this class on line was the teacher who teaches this class routinely calls her students losers and ignorant on a regular basis and is permitted to do so by administrators again does this sound like a school thats concerned with their students success or is it just a paycheck!!! Until the attitude changes at Bellaire I can no longer say I am a proud graduate.....
