Suffice to say, they were pleasantly surprised to discover a dog who was not only gentle, but welcoming and helpful. It was Stormy who led the emergency responders to Royer, who was unconscious on the floor. When it was time for Royer to be transported, Stormy would not enter the vehicle until his guardian was inside...from that point on, Stormy is said to have been a "perfect gentleman," for the remainder of the journey.
