Beloveds, We must not miss the target. Hitting the target has to become our most important focus.When this happens you will never miss it. People miss the target , because they do not aim correctly. He is choosing a people that will exalt Him above all else. When Jesus was born it was not the great scholars or the pharisees that came to His birth but it was the shepherds. And there were some country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.And lo, the Angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone around about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not:for, behold, I bring you good tidings and great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you this day in the city of David, a savior is born , which is Christ the Lord. Luke2:8-11 Do you not think if the pharisees missed it and the great scholars missed it, then if we do not get the eyes of our understanding opened that we could miss it ? Jesus had walked among His disciples, but yet when He was resurrected they were missing it. Let the eyes of our understanding be opened to the power of the first coming of Christ! The church that He builds, the gates of hell shall not prevail. Let us walk with the eyes of understanding opened, even if it shakes our thinking and goes against everything that we have been taught.
